Kristi Reynolds, PhD, MPH

Dr. Kristi Reynolds is a chronic disease epidemiologist with primary research interests in the etiology, prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Her research has focused on lifestyle interventions to prevent hypertension, risk factors for obesity, diabetes, end-stage renal disease, hypertension and stroke, and cardiovascular disease surveillance. Her current research has expanded to examine methods of measuring medication adherence, reasons for primary non-adherence to prescribed medication therapy and health care interventions to improve medication adherence. She is the site principal investigator on several NIH and AHRQ funded multi-center studies. Dr. Reynolds is a member of the American Heart Association Quality of Care & Outcomes Research in Cardiovascular Disease & Stroke program planning committee and serves on the Hypertension editorial board.
