Henry Ford Health System (HFHS) Center for Health Services Research

HFHS is an integrated non-profit corporation comprised of Health Alliance Plan, an HMO serving >600,000 members in Detroit; Henry Ford Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of 800 physicians, 26 medical centers and 10 hospitals; and Henry Ford Health Sciences Center HFHSC). HFHSC has >150 basic, clinical, and population science researchers, with >1,500 rojects, including studies on hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes. Federally-funded CVD studies at HFHS include: Heart Failure - A Controlled Trial Investigating Outcomes of Exercise Training; ACCORD; Translational Research Investigating Underlying disparities in Post-MI patients Health status Registry; and Acute Myocardial Infarction and Left Ventricular Hypertrophy Study.
